Duke of Edinburgh Skills Course

Description

We are looking forward to our Spring term of cooking classes for students wishing to gain some wonderful cookery skills, and fulfill their skills section for The Duke of Edinburgh Award.

The classes will take place on Wednesday afternoons from 5.30 - 6.45  (sometimes a tiny bit longer depending on what we are cooking) from January to March.  In each class the students will learn to cook at least one delicious recipe. They will take home what they have cooked, including a recipe so it can be re-created at home. We will also fill in the relevant Duke of Edinburgh forms each week, and include the necessary photographs to illustrate the skills they learn. By the end of the course each student will have taken on the skills they need to complete the skills section of their Duke of Edinburgh award, and completed the documentation to support it.

Emma has a wealth of experience in teaching cookery to all ages – from the very young to students heading off to university, to grandparents cooking for their grandchildren and everything in between. Every class is designed to be informative but great fun.   Emma will put every effort in to making the Duke of Edinburgh students really enjoy the course, and leave full of inspiration to take their new skills home and put them into practice.

The cost of the course is £220.
